Puyallup School District (PSD) school levy
that you have the opportunity to vote on
today before the February 9th. deadline
Please take a minute to learn about them and
be sure to cast your vote on Feb. 9th.

School District Information
Our kids depend on the quality education,
facilities and opportunities that are funded
from these levies. Our baseball program
depends on the free use of the facilities
from the PSD. The local FME soccer club, FME baseball &
FM Basketball leagues also depend on the use
of the facilities from PSD ( and Fife School
District).

04/09/2009: Hilltop Field Maintenance -
(T-ball, Girl's Coach Pitch) -
Wow, check
out the pictures of Hilltop Elementary School
baseball fields. A special thanks to Dave
Hemming and crew for the major improvements done
to both the T-ball and the Girl's coach pitch
fields.
03/22/2009: 2009 Season
Updates-Space available-T-ball,
Minor,& Major Leagues -
All League practices started the week of
March 16th. T-ball practices started
the week of March 23rd. We need full participation by team
coaches and parents to prepare our fields for
this seasons and to ensure they are safe.
We delayed the Field Maintenance due to weather
but will reschedule and post a new date soon. Please plan to participating
as the more volunteers we
have the faster we can get our fields ready for

EAA Needs your Help! -
EAA needs
additional new
volunteers
to get involved to enable the league to keep
providing the fun recreational youth
baseball/softball that has been enjoyed by EAA
players for over 40 years. EAA is in search of some new EAA Board members. Brief position descriptions are below

EAA President - Oversees the 10 board meetings each year, Coordinates with Puyallup School District Athletic Director. 1st VP - Oversees Coaches and
hold the pre-season coaches meeting (once a year).Committee Chairs Needed: Uniforms (Orders and distributes league uniforms) Co-Umpire Coordinator (Obtains umpires through local Jr. High also sets up umpire clinic in March, schedules umpires during the season). For more information or if

09/29/2008: EAA Board Meeting (7PM)
The
EAA board held a meeting in Edgemont Jr. High
School Cafeteria. Discussion regarding
budget, field conditions, 2008 season close-out,
and open board positions were discussed.
07/12/2008: Congratulations: North Hill Chiropractic & Rutherford
Insurance
U-10 Girls Fast Pitch Teams came 2nd Place in the playoffs this
year.
The North Hill Chiropractic team coached by Jon
Rogers came in 2nd place in the post season
tournament this years. The girls U-10 fast
pitch team, Rutherford Insurance, coached by Ty
Rutherford came in 2nd place as well in the post
season tournament. Great job!
06/21/2008: Attention Coaches -
Equipment Turn-in:
Equipment turn-in will on Monday June 23rd, 6 to 7 pm
to any coaches that are done playing for the
season. Place Edgemont park (Parking lot). For teams
that are in the post season tournament,
equipment can be dropped off after the
tournament is over at the Howard's.

Registration Closed:
Boys Minor & Major Player Registration Open.
Registration is
now
Closed.
However there is still room left in the Boys Minors Division. If you are interested, please call or email Linda Howard
immediately at
lmhoward5@msn.com.
There may still be time to sign up your child for the 2008 EAA
season but your player will be placed on a waiting list and may not
get on a team this year. EAA is proud to provide a limited amount of
scholarships for those needing financial assistance so please call
to inquire. Most requests require a short written explanation
of the particular player's need.03/08/2008: Required
Coaches Meeting March 11, 2008:
The
next required coaches
meeting has been changed to Tuesday, March 11, 2008
at 7:00PM. This meeting
had to be rescheduled due to a previously scheduled school event on that same
night. Location is the Edgemont Junior High Cafeteria. If you plan
to coach this year it is required that you
and/or your assistant coach is in attendance. Practice
schedules, equipment, and team rosters will be handed out during
this meeting
